McKenzie Table Paint Out

The McKenzie Table Mountain Preserve Open House and Plein Air paint Out held on March 13th and 14th 2010
was SFC's second public event for the SFC Plein Air Project.. The weather was absolutely prefect and 17 of the participating artists were there to capture the coming of spring. The wildflowers and the preserves’ dramatic table top set a prefect backdrop for the hikers and the painters. This event was shared with over 500 visitors both from the general public and SFC’s membership. Visitors were allowed to observe the artists in action as they hiked the loop trail or to the top of the McKenzie Table. This was a great event for families to come out and have a picnic as well.

Our next paint out will be held in Jerseydale, CA at the Clark’s Valley Conservation Easement on May 15, 2010.
