Please find attached the requisite Monthly Program Report for the Millerton Area Watershed Coalition Program – Contract Number: 4600001799.  The report is for the period of September 1, 2002 through September 30, 2002 – and includes the following:

The Coalition’s primary focus is now the scoping and planning of the watershed assessment.  Terry Sandridge, property owner and a Director of the Sierra Resource Conservation District has stepped forward on a volunteer basis to chair the assessment activities.  Almost all proposed assessment components have individuals that have volunteered to be responsible for assessment data collection, review and publication.

 

Finally, the Steering Committee has conveyed their interest that the Multi-Agency Technical Advisory Committee participates in the Coalition’s watershed program efforts in a non-regulatory role providing their respective expertise, critical information and technical advice.
